Target Species: Sheep & Goats Therapeutic use: ANTHELMINTIC
Dose: It can be administered as an oral drench. The dose is 1 ml/ 5 Kg Body weight;
Key uses and benefits Targeted parasite control: It is effective against roundworms, liver flukes (all stages, including early immature, immature and adult), and nasal bot flies, offering comprehensive parasite control during the grazing season. Safe for a wider range of animals: It is considered safe for use in young and pregnant sheep at any stage of pregnancy.
Convenient administration: It is convenient for field administration, especially in situations where diagnostic facilities may be limited. Combination approach: This suspension combines the benefits of two anthelmintics.
Mode of action: Triclabendazole effectively combats liver fluke infections through a combined approach of inhibiting microtubule formation, disrupting energy metabolism, and damaging the tegument, ultimately leading to the parasite's demise.
Ivermectin: Ivermectin's selective action on the nervous system of invertebrates, primarily through glutamate-gated chloride channels, and the inherent safety mechanisms in mammals at therapeutic doses make it a valuable antiparasitic drug for veterinary use.
Withdrawal Period: Milk: 7 days; Meat: 28 days
Storage: The suspension should be stored in a cool, dry place below 25°C, protected from light and freezing.
